MANAGING THE CANOPY FOR TOP QUALITY FRUIT

In addition to using deficit irrigation practices and ground cover, the canopy is managed using a Collard rotary trimmer to ensure 36" - 42" long shoots, balanced vines and good air circulation and spray penetration. Good canopy management also ensures that fruit is partially exposed to sunlight.
