San Diego International Wine Competition 2010; http://www.sdiwc.com/results_sd.html
Warm days, cool nights and unique soil conditions at our family estate vineyards have fashioned the premium grapes for this wine. Dark red in color, this wine has lovely aromas of blackberries, currants and raspberries with hints of juniper and smokiness in the background. Moderate tannins provide a long finish which can be enjoyed alone or with lighter meat and chicken fare. Only 175 cases produced.
