A steep rocky south facing hillside together with long warm summer days and cooling afternoon breezes have crafted the premium grapes for this luscious dark – almost mulberry-black wine. This is a big mouth filling wine with heady aromas of blackberry preserves, raspberries, cassis and chocolate followed by a long finish on the palate with faint hints of cedar and tobacco. An excellent companion to big meat or game dishes, barbequed foods and hearty casseroles.
